Day 13 reflection

Well it’s a lazy Saturday. I should be cleaning the house but I’m half way between an early afternoon nap and sitting in the unkempt office wasting time on the net. I post pictures tomorrow night but before I do I thought I’d comment on the near close of my second PX90 week. My numbers have all improved. I feel stronger and have much more energy then before I started, but sadly I look no different. Still skinny. I keep thinking how I could be doing more pushups but look the exact same. No worries though, my posture is improving. I tend to slouch, but when I’m working out my shoulders pull up and back.

Eating is still an issue. While I’ve cut down on a lot of bad shit it is still difficult to stay away from ALL the bad stuff (deep dish pizza from UNO’s last night for example). Sometimes I don’t know what I should be eating. My cooking skills are practically nil so preparing tasty healthy food is very hard. Lately I’ve been looking on the Food Network for easy meals I can prepare. I’ve been eating oatmeal in the morning, waiting an 45 min or so, doing my PX90 workout, eating a 3 egg omelet with red peppers, onions, and cheese. I used to eat eggs with ketchup but with the 3 ingredients in my eggs I have no desire for ketchup. I’ve been trying to eat some sort of sandwich snack early afternoon, no more ham, I’ve switched to Turkey which apparently is better. As far as dinner, it’s usually a meat (Ribs, Chicken, Fish, etc).

Fish is my new kick. I’ve been told it’s better than chicken, beef, steaks, etc. If I go to the fishmonger I can get daily catches which are already marinated. For 4 -7 bucks depending on the type I can get a very nice serving. So for less than $20 bucks a week I can get 3 - 4 servings of fish. That’s not bad. The only thing I need to do now is reintroduce salad into my dinner.

I’m gonna go make some instant miso soup and watch my room mate play Mario Kart Wii. Then it’s nap time, PX90’s Kenpo X, shower, clean house and enjoy another Saturday Night.
