Who’s psyched? I am that’s who. Three times a charm, at least it better be. I will report in tomorrow to let you know how my px90 workout was. Hoorah.
Summary of px90: Getting back on the horse tomorrow.
People often ask which is better, weights or px90 resistance bands, the answer you won’t like: Depends. If you have a complete set of weights already I think these are better to use because of the full range of motion you can achieve with your exercises. However if you do not have any weights or you on a traveling person bands are the better solution. Resistance Bands provide a compact light weight solution. There is also a Resistance Bands Complete Kitavailable. This includes 10 bands which means you get 10 different weights essentially.
So in a nutshell, while I think the weights are better due to the range of motion you get, if you’re on the go or don’t want to spend the money on weights (which are more expensive) get yourself the bands.
Summary of px90: If you don’t have weights bands are more than fine.
Anybody else who has fell off the wagon or is having trouble staying on my only advice I can give is this: It doesn’t matter how many times you fall down, it matters how many times you pick yourself up. So hang in there. We can do this together, I know we can.
Summary of px90: The struggle will be a happy memory in 3 months.
I’m getting used to the ground, the hard pact earth beneath me on the px90 wagon trail. I haven’t quite figured out how to stay on the wagon. I’ve tried with friends, alone, in the evening, in the morning, sporadic times… but in the end I keep falling off the damn px90 wagon.
When I’m doing the workouts I feel spectacular in every facet; mind, body, and spirit. When I’m sitting on the ground twiddling my thumbs the lack of endorphins leave me in a depressed low with barely enough energy to pick myself up. So as much as I know that the px90 workout does wonders during and after its completion I have to evaluate why I can’t get passed the half way point. Is the training system too difficult? - No, not really. Are the workouts boring? - No, their no bs attitude keep me in line. Is it too long? - Ding Ding Ding! Yah, the hour and a half (not including shower and blog writing afterwards) every day is just not conceivable with my lifestyle. Even if I cut out my blog it’s still 45 min too long.
Just before I quit the px90 a few weeks yet again I came up with a system. No videos. Just go through the routine using the calendar. If you watch the videos for the first few times you’ll know how to do the exercises without watching Tony do them. This can cut your workout time down by up to 50% because you aren’t waiting for “them” to finish if you are at your breaking point. Is this worth a shot? Yah I think so. I’m hands down happier on the days when I complete my px90 workout.
Summary of px90: I am currently struggling with staying on the wagon but I’m going to get back on again!
