Unfortunately I wasn’t able to post yesterday so I’m posting today instead. My chest is hurting. Never have I stretched so much in one day. Stretching is the only thing that feels good right now, my muscles are beyond sore.
Day 1 of px90 should be called push-ups and pull-ups. You basically do an hour of push-ups and pull-ups. You do 24 sets in all. The push-ups weren’t so bad but the pull-ups took everything out of me. I had to use the chair for all the pull-ups. When using the chair you basically put your foot on it and push yourself up when your back and arms don’t have the strength to pull up. Even with the chair I was only able to do a few pull-ups per set. I think pull-ups are going to be my biggest struggle as I have no back muscles.
So after getting through the first px90 workout I was hit with a Mac-Truck… Ab Ripper X. I imagine this is a brutal workout on its’ own, but doing so after chest and back is terrible. After doing a hundred or so push-ups and 15 or so pull-ups I wanted to be slouching on my couch… NOT doing 339 ab reps.
I didn’t do 339 reps, I did about 60. There are quite a few ab exercises during the 15 minute workout. I’d like to make a recommendation here, don’t kill yourself on the first set. Make a goal with yourself that you’re going to do 5 – 10 reps per exercise. It may seem low for the first few exercises but you’ll thank me by the time you get to the 7th exercise. As time goes on you can increase your reps. I couldn’t do some of the exercises but at the end of it all I felt like I was kicked in the stomach by a mule, so I did something right.
Let me make another recommendation. Eat enough food before doing the px90. I did not eat enough food and I was feeling light headed half way through the workout. One nice thing about the DVDs is the time bar at the bottom of the screen. The time bar indicates the remaining time of the entire workout as well as the remaining time for the set you are currently on. The time bar is annoying when it reads 45:08 but really nice when it reads 06:34. If you start getting light headed with more than 30 minutes left you need to drink more water, eat more food prior to working out or pace yourself more evenly.
Summary of px90 Day 1: This is not going to be a Richard Simmons or Billy Blanks workout. This is going to be tough all the way through.
Ab exercises are a wonderful way to build confidence in your body as you can see the improvements happening. Too many people have shame and a lack of confidence in their appearance.

Way back I used silk’n to get rid of my excess hair but it was so stressfull that I had to look for alternatives. I gave shaving a try and it worked so-so but was kind of inconveinant. People should know by now that ab exercises don’t burn fat. Performing hundreds of crunches doesn’t do much good either. Abs are regular muscles and should be triggered with resistance training, the same way you train your chest etc. Few sets with proper weight load. help! i need some legal advice on custody / child support / divorce !!!!? Ok-I recently left my husband. We have 1 child together and 1 on the way. My husband still lives down south, and I moved to delaware (with the child). In delaware, my husband is considered a repeat offender and has several felony charges and is also a known drug user. Currently, he is not on drugs however. He doesn’t have a car or a place of his own, and never stays at the same job to long.I am trying to work things out with him where we don’t have to go through the courts, but he is being an a–hole. He sends me all kinds of emails about how he’s going to make sure I don’t get any help from welfare, and how I can’t make him pay child support b/c were married, and how he’s going to get the kids.I have several questions-If we r married but living in seperate states n he isn’t supporting his child, can I get child support? What about help through welfare? Is it possible that a judge would grant him even JOINT custody? With his record? He was put in jail for a few months for assault on a pregnant female (me) but was never convicted b/c I didn’t show at court – would the judge still look at that? We were married in SC- can I file for legal separation in delaware, or do I have to travel all the way to SC? What are my options in this case? Are there lawyers out there that I can consult about this for free? What is the best thing for me to do in this situation? When I was 7 months pregnant he broke my cheekbone and I needed stitches in my ear. The state presses charges but were unable to prosecute b/c I didn’t show. I didn’t go to court b/c #1 I was all the way in SC and wasn’t legally able to drive through virginia (suspended license) to delware, I had a job, and also b/c I was very young and stupid and let him convince me that he was sorry. He doesn’t have a car (b/c he sold the few he had to get drugs) and he shares an apartment w/ 3 other guys…..he can’t keep a job. He is very unresponsible and has several 1st degree robbery charges as well as possession charges. I don’t think he is fit to be a parent

A stepdown transformer should not cause damage to any of your equipment. Transformers are basically two coils wound together. The coils are electrically independent of each other, meaning that there is no direct connection between them. The only thing it will do is take the line voltage and transform it down to the 110vac you described above. The only way a transformer would cause damage would be if there were an actual fault in it. If there is any variation in the output voltage then that would more than likely be caused by the changing of the input voltage. As long as the transformer is in good working conditions (ie not abused) then there should be no problem.

When our dog had puppies we gave her calcium (actually TUMS with calcium inside of chunks of hot dogs so she wouldn’t spit it out) I would also recommend RAW chicken bones. remeber no cooked stuff, cooked chicken bones are bad for dogs but the raw stuff is just fine. Go to a delli and ask if they’ll give you their spare stuff (its not like they have any use for it)

She will just lay there and look at you when you tell her to come, or do anything. I never take that as her being stubborn, as she should be able to have her time to rest also! If she’s tired, and wants to sleep, I will not force her to do anything. Try working with him when he’s fully energized…using the praise and reward technique. Tell him to come and when he does, give him a little treat. Continue doing so, and he’ll begin to come on command, because he knows he’s going to be rewarded for listening. Good luck!!
